My Darling Bazil

Bazil is now in his 15th year. He came to me when he was 3 years old, rescued from a family whose children were abusing him.

When he first arrived he was very emotionally disturbed but I worked hard and he learned to trust. He has given such love during his life. When he was younger he was a simply stunning boy. He's a Collie cross German Shepherd and had a lust for life. He loves his ball - but hates the vet with a vengeance. I've been very lucky that he has been a particularly healthy dog throughout his life so he hasn't had to endure visits to the vet very often.

He's now starting to slow down but, with age, comes a very special time that we share. He's been with me through all of life's ups and downs;
he's been my faithful friend and I love him dearly. He's very spoiled - but deserves to be as he is truly a fantastic boy!

I hope to have a few more years with my wonderful friend. He's not ready to go to rainbow bridge just yet. We still have many adventures to go on before then.
